Visiting Etiquette

We maintain Finleyville Cemetery as a place of remembrance, reflection, and respect. We kindly ask all visitors to:

  • Be mindful of others who may be grieving
  • Properly dispose of trash
  • Follow flower and decoration guidelines (see below)
  • Keep pets leashed and clean up after them

Flowers & Decorations

We welcome thoughtful decorations that honor your loved ones while allowing us to maintain the dignity and beauty of our grounds:

  • Fresh flowers are always welcome
  • Artificial arrangements are permitted but will be removed when they become weathered
  • Seasonal decorations are allowed and should be removed one month after the holiday
  • Glass containers, candles with open flames, and items that may interfere with maintenance are not permitted
